Adam Weatherby has officially been named president of Weatherby, Inc., therein continuing the family's long running leadership over the company that family patriarch Roy founded in 1945.

Like his father, longtime CEO and President Ed Weatherby, Adam grew up surrounded by his family's legacy.

“What my Grandfather Roy started more than 70 years ago is as special today as it’s ever been, and as President I’ll never stray from his vision and our promise to customers that ‘nothing shoots flatter, hits harder or is more accurate’ than a Weatherby,” Adam promised.

The elder Weatherby said that he's ready to pass on the reigns, and that Adam is more than ready for the job.

“I grew up absorbing everything about rifles and cartridges from my Dad, whether we were in the shop working or out in the field hunting," Ed said. "It was an amazing journey, and one I was able to pass on to my own son. Now it’s Adam’s time to continue our family’s legacy, and I’m very proud of him.”
