There's no two ways around it—if you're known to venture into the backwoods, you should have a survival gun. And, whether you're looking to purchase your first one or already have several, Chiappa's Little Badger is a model well worth taking into consideration.

A single-shot .22 LR, the Little Badger can be folded in half, making it easy to carry in a backpack or other travel bag. It's been stripped down to the bare basics, eliminating any unnecessary bulk, and clocks in at 3.5 lbs.

Chiappa put the gun on display at SHOT Show 2013's Media Day at the Range, and American Rifleman's Mark Keefe was happy to put it to the test. Take a look for yourself with the video below:
