Coyote and varmint hunters throughout North America are being given a high-quality ammunition option thanks to Winchester's new Varmint X line.

The Varmint X line will initially feature offerings in .204 Ruger, .223 Rem., .22-250 Rem. and .243 Win.—four of the most popular centerfire rifle calibers on the predator hunting market. The charcoal-colored, polymer-tipped bullets in each caliber are optimized for long-distance accuracy and explosive impact on coyotes, prairie dogs and other varmints.

Interest in varmint hunting has continued to rise, and Varmint X provides a specific offering from one of the industry's most well renowned names. Varmint X will hit store shelves in Jan. 2013. It will be available in 20-round boxes and 200-round cases.
