Just as our favorite colors can be indicative of our personalities, our favorite rifle cartridge can tell an awful lot about us as hunters. Let us begin, shall we, with tongue planted firmly in cheek.

The myriad selection of rifle cartridges today has a metric ton of overlap, duplication, and some downright silly designs. Some of these designs boast wonderful claims, but not all of them measure up. In order to be overrated, you have to be rated at all, so let’s leave some of the more obscure designs off the menu.

So, apparently some of you felt left out in the first installment of this piece, and the powers that be have allowed me to extend the party, so as to include you in the festivities. Still, there’s no way to cover them all, and if your favorite didn’t make the list I suggest you pick a new favorite. Kidding, kidding…
