Since opening last fall, the 300-acre Palmetto Shooting Complex near the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) headquarters in Edgefield, S.C., has hosted more than a dozen shooting events and welcomed more than 6,000 shooters and 20,000 visitors.

History, art and aerospace buffs often flock to the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to tour the many museums of the Smithsonian. What's potentially lacking, we must say, is a destination for those that want to learn more about the outdoors. Yes, there are a number of hunter-friendly institutions sprinkled across the nation—like the NRA Whittington Center—but we're still lacking a be-all, end-all museum dedicated to our passion. That will change in 2016, with the upcoming opening of the new Johnny Morris Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium.

The National Rifle Association is pleased to announce the students selected to attend the 2017 Youth Education Summit (Y.E.S.), a seven-day educational experience in Washington, D.C., scheduled for July 24-30, 2017.

The 2017 National Rifle Association Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) National Championship is scheduled for July 23-28, 2017, at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico.

YHEC is many things. Here is a small taste of what the Youth Hunter Education Challenge has to offer.

The NRA Youth Education Summit (Y.E.S.) is thrilled to announce that it is adding a second session of Y.E.S. in summer 2018.
