The 2016 Great American Outdoor Show kicked off to great fanfare this past weekend, and dedicated hunters, shooters, archers, fishermen and other outdoor enthusiasts are exploring the halls of the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex at this very moment.

As we've mentioned a few times before, 2016 marks the 150th Anniversary for the cumulative Winchester brands. As you might expect, commemorative product releases are coming—some have already dropped, like the 150th Anniversary Model 73 we saw at SHOT Show 2016. Next up on the list is Winchester Ammo's recently announced custom-built, collectible cartridge-firearm boards. There will be five in all.

A legendary brand was launched in 1866, and 150 years later Winchester is celebrating its founding with a series of commemorative offerings. Among them is a once-in-a-lifetime series of 10, pre-production rifles, chambered in 44-40, of the "One of Five Hundred" Model 1866 "Yellow Boy."
