As you might have heard, Winchester is celebrating its 150th Anniversary this year. As the year has rolled on, the company has rolled out a variety of commemorative products to mark the occasion. Now, though, Winchester is asking its loyal customers to share their own stories—and prizes are on the table.

To enter, interested parties have to go to the official Winchester 150 website and share their favorite Winchester-related memory. Kill your first turkey with Long Beard XR? That plays. Watch your son or daughter take their first whitetail with Deer Season XP? Submit a photo! The entries will be posted to the anniversary website, and all those who participate will be entered in a sweepstakes drawing that features a bevy of prizes.

The grand prize is a 150th Anniversary Commemorative Winchester Model 1866 “Yellow Boy” and 150th Anniversary Commemorative Ammo Package. Second prize is a VIP Experience at the Cody Firearms Museum. Third prize is a set of 150th Anniversary Commemorative Ammo. Not a bad lineup.

You can submit your memory here, and check out other entrants' stories here.

Consider setting a trap this season for your best opportunity at an ethical, in-your-face shot.
