Watch: Hunter Surprises Sleeping Turkey

File this one under things that would never happen during turkey season. In a video posted to YouTube earlier this month, a hunter chasing groundhogs (he doesn't say where) happens across a sleeping gobbler. Naturally, he decided to test his stealth skills and see how close he could get to the tom before waking it up. The answer: far closer than he probably expected.

Check it out for yourself with the video embedded above. It's probably safe to say that this particular bird may reconsider napping in the middle of fields going forward.
