New from Kimber is a Long Slide version of its Stainless Target pistol. Three features make it particularly well suited for handgun hunting: a 10mm Auto chambering, a 6-inch barrel for increased velocity and sight radius, and excellent sights that consist of an adjustable rear notch and a red, fiber-optic front. Not surprisingly, the Stainless Target Long Slide is a hefty pistol with its stainless steel frame, slide and barrel, weighing 42 ounces and measuring almost 10 inches long—but its size and weight help keep it steady on target and soak up recoil from the snappy 10mm cartridge. We spent some time on the range with the pistol during SHOT Show 2018; see how the gun shoots and get more details about it in this video. MSRP: 10mm, $1,055; .45 ACP, $1,075.
