Silencer Central has added SilencerCo suppressors to its special Free Tax Stamp promotion that runs until July 31, 2025. SilencerCo joins Banish Suppressors, Gunwerks, LMT, Nosler, Off Grid, and Wilson Combat in partnering with Silencer Central to cover the $200 cost of the NFA-required tax stamp for their customers on qualified purchases.

“This is a really exciting addition to our summer promotion,” said Logan Hutchinson, director of marketing for Silencer Central. “We have a great partnership with SilencerCo, and their suppressors are always very popular and top sellers.”

Referencing the reduction of suppressor tax stamps from $200 to $0—due to be implemented January 1, 2026—Hutchinson continued, “At Silencer Central, we are committed to bridging the gap between now and the new year by covering the cost of the tax stamp and ensuring our customers have access to suppressors, now. It’s great to have manufacturing partners that share that commitment.”

For a limited time, customers can use the promo code “STAMP” to unlock a free tax stamp with the purchase of any qualifying suppressor. Silencer Central has added nearly a dozen SilencerCo suppressor models to its Free Tax Stamp promotion, and hundreds of units are in stock and available now. Qualified SilencerCo products include Scythe STM, Scythe Ti, Velos 556, Velos 556K, Velos 762, Omega 300, Omega 36M, Omega 9K, Hybrid 46, Hybrid 46M and Spectre 9.

More than 50 other suppressors qualify as well, including: all Banish suppressors; all Off-Grid suppressors (except the Scorpius 22); all available Wilson Combat suppressors; all available Nosler suppressors; all available LMT suppressors; and Gunwerks titanium models. Enthusiasts who purchase a qualifying suppressor during this promotion will also receive a free limited-edition patch while supplies last. The patch will only be available during this promotion period.

The Silencer Central  promotion extends to participating dealers. Full details can be found at silencercentral.com.

Michigan Mayor Looks Down on Guns and Dogs

“If you’ve got a gun, you should be ashamed of yourself,” said Grand Rapids Mayor David LaGrand. NRA-ILA also noted that in his response to a police K-9 chasing down a suspect, LaGrand said: “It is time that we ask, ‘What are dogs good for?’ Like, if you need a dog to find someone in the woods, get a hound dog. If you need to chase somebody in a backyard, why couldn’t you do that with a drone? If my dog did what I saw in that video, I’d put my dog down.”
