On this week's #SundayGunday, NRA Media's Jay Grazio checks out the B Series Timber Tactical from Savage. A nifty little rimfire with an 18-inch heavy-profile, deep spiral fluted barrel, the Timber Tactical comes available in .22 LR, .22 WMR and 17 HMR, perfect chamberings for plinkers and small-game hunters alike.

The gun is built around an OD Green, Laminate stock, with a an angled buttstock cut for easy elevation adjustments off a bag. Is also boasts an incredibly vertical grip for good trigger finger position, and three sling swivel studs—two for your sling, and one for a bipod or other accessory. Up top, a 20 MOA Picatinny rail comes installed from the factory.
Shots feed from a 10-round rotary magazine, and are released via a 1.5-pound precision AccuTrigger. Finally, the gun's muzzle is threaded to 1/2x28 TPI, for the easy addition of a rimfire suppressor.
