This week on #SundayGunday, we’re taking a break from things that go bang and setting our sights on a key piece of gear for spotting your quarry, the Burris Signature HD 15x56mm Binocular. In the vast landscapes that define our American West, sometimes you need to see a little further when gridding out a faraway canyon, or looking just inside a sparse tree line. Moments like that are what the Signature HD 15x56mm Binocular are built for. With 15x magnification and 56mm objective lenses, this high-end bino boasts a 215-foot field of view at 1000 yards, while maintaining a close-focus capable of closing to 23 feet.

Within, an HD Roof Prism keeps the picture so clear and bright that, with a steady pair of hands, you wont even fell the need to be constrained to a tripod—a tall order for most 15x binos, which can begin to hurt the eyes and head with even the most miniscule of movements. The binocular has adjustable aluminum eyecups to suit the needs of every hunter, and the diopter is adjustable from a -5 to +5, to similarly suit near any set of eyes.

The bino sports a hinged design, making it adjustable from 60 to 75mm between the exist pupils. A fast-focus knob sits behind this hinge, making it easy to lock on to your target in a hurry. The waterproof binocular is nitrogen filled to resist fogging on its Bak-4 glass, which sports Phase Correct dielectric coating for optimal resolution. Outside, the binocular’s shockproof body is coated in durable rubber armor to resist drops and shocks of all kinds. Included with the Burris Signature HD 15x56mm Binocular are a carrying case, neoprene neck strap, and even a tripod adapter for those longer glassing sessions. For more information on this excellent glassing tool, which sports an MSRP of $960, visit burrisoptics.com.
