Earlier this year, Savage Arms expanded its iconic Model 110 lineup to introduce six new cartridges.

"In the new era of the Model 110, we are focused on providing the widest offerings for everyone," said Beth Shimanski, vice president of marketing at Savage Arms. "It does not matter if you are a hunter, precision shooter or tactical warrior, there is a 110 perfectly built for your needs, and these six new cartridges guarantee it."

New Calibers:

  • .22 Creedmoor
  • .22 ARC
  • .25 Creedmoor
  • .300 HAM'R
  • .338 ARC
  • 6.8 Western

Created by necking down the popular 6.5 Creedmoor case, the .22 Creedmoor is a rifle cartridge with exceptional long-range accuracy. Characterized by flat trajectory and low recoil, it has become a top choice for varmint hunter, predator hunting and precision shooting. Of the new offerings, the 22 Creedmoor is the most widely available. This chambering can be found in 13 different 110 models: 110 Core Hunter Pro, 110 Core Hunter, 110 Core Predator, 110 Core Tactical, 110 Trail Blazer, 110 Trail Blazer XP, 110 Trail Hunter Lite V2, 110 Ultralite Predator, 110 Ultralite Pro, Impulse Core Hunter, Impulse Core Hunter Pro, Impulse Core Predator and Impulse Ultralite Pro.

The .22 Advanced Rifle Cartridge (ARC) is known for utilizing heavy, high-ballistic coefficient bullets to achieve flat trajectories and premier long-range performance while reducing recoil. Ideal for precision, varmint and predator hunting, six rifles will be available in .22 ARC: 110 Ultralite Predator, 110 Trail Blazer, 110 Trail Blazer XP, 110 Core Tactical, 110 Core Predator and 110 Core Hunter.

Optimized to deliver powerful .30-caliber performance while using less power, .300 HAM'R is known for providing a substantial ballistic upgrade without moving to a larger platform. Four rifles will be offered in this new chambering: 110 Core Hunter, 110 Ridge Hunter, 110 Trail Blazer and 110 Trail Blazer XP.

Recently accepted by SAAMI, .25 Creedmoor leverages modern, high-ballistic coefficient bullets to maximize wind resistance and energy retention. The 110 Core Hunter Pro, 110 Trail Blazer, 110 Trail Blazer XP, 110 Trail Hunter Lite V2, Impulse Core Hunter Pro and Impulse Ultralite Pro are all available in .25 Creedmoor.

The .338 ARC is a powerful round designed off of the 6.5 Grendel case, excelling at both subsonic and supersonic velocities. .338 ARC will also be available in eight of the new models: 110 Ultralite Predator, 110 Trail Hunter Lite V2, 110 Trail Blazer, 110 Trail Blazer XP, 110 Scout V2, 110 Ridge Hunter, 110 Core Tactical and 110 Core Hunter.

Developed in the early 2020s, the 6.8 Western cartridge quickly became a fan favorite for long-range hunting. It will be available in eight models of the new 110 platform: 110 Core Hunter Pro, 110 KLYM V2, 110 Ultralite Elite V2, 110 Ultralite Pro, Impulse Core Hunter Pro, Impulse KLYM V2 and Impulse Ultralite Pro.
