RCBS, a leading manufacturer of precision reloading equipment, is sponsoring efforts by Pass It On—Outdoor Mentors to expand its outdoor mentoring program. Through the partnership, RCBS will support the organization’s mission of pairing young people, many of them first-time hunters, with trained volunteers who provide hands-on experiences in hunting, shooting sports and conservation education.
“What really stands out about Pass It On Outdoor Mentors is the people—dedicated mentors who take the time to change a young person’s life through their first outdoor experience,” said Joel Hodgdon, marketing director of RCBS. “Seeing this program grow and reach kids in communities across the country makes us so proud to be part of something that’s shaping the future of the outdoors.”
Since its founding in 2002, Pass It On—Outdoor Mentors has engaged thousands of youths across the country, with a particular focus on those who lack access to land, equipment or an outdoor heritage. By removing those barriers through structured, safety-focused programming, the organization plays a vital role in sustaining America’s hunting and fishing traditions at a time when youth are increasingly disconnected from the natural world.
“Partnerships like this with RCBS are truly transformative—for our organization and for the future of conservation,” said Dr. Scott Petrie, CEO of Pass It One—Outdoor Mentors. “RCBS represents the very best of our industry, and their support helps us equip and inspire young people who might otherwise never experience the outdoors. More importantly, this partnership directly strengthens the conservation model that sustains wildlife across North America. By investing in the next generation of hunters and anglers, RCBS is helping ensure our outdoor traditions—and the funding behind them—endure for years to come. We are deeply grateful for their leadership and commitment.”
Pass It On—Outdoor Mentors was established in 2002 and provided mentored hunting and fishing opportunities to youth who would otherwise lack access to the outdoors. Through a structured, safety-focused model, trained volunteer mentors guide young people from diverse backgrounds through hands-on experiences that build confidence, responsibility and life skills.
RCBS has dedicated itself to the craft of reloading ammunition since it was founded in 1943. Starting with one simple bullet swaging die, the company has grown to become a leading reloading equipment manufacturer.
