Outdoor Edge has introduced the Duck Duo, the latest addition to the company’s lineup of combination knife sets for sportsmen. The new knife package is named for the unique duck-head-shaped handle on both pieces, but is comprised of a gut-hook skinner and caping knife for big-game utility.

The gut-hook skinner features a 3.7-inch drop-point blade and measures 7.2-inches overall, while the caping knife boasts a compact 3.2-inch blade and measures 6.8-inches overall. The drop-point skinner’s gut hook opens game like a zipper without fear of puncturing internal organs, while the smaller caping knife is perfect for detailed, intricate cuts, as well as caping out heads. When not in use, the set stores in the included nylon belt sheath featuring Kryptek Highlander camo.

In terms of construction, both knives have 8Cr14MoV stainless-steel blades that have been heat treated with a hand-finished edge, to retain its sharpness over time. To further achieve this goal, both blades have a Rockwell-C Hardness (HRC) rating of 57. Meanwhile, those duck-shaped heads provide a locking grip in a variety of positions, and the rubberized non-slip TPR handle provides a non-slip hold, even when things get wet and messy.
