The National Rifle Association is proud to announce the Grand Scholarship winners from the 2024 Youth Education Summit (Y.E.S.)—a group of exceptional students selected for their leadership, initiative, and dedication to advancing NRA programs within their communities. These top-performing participants have collectively received $13,500 in college scholarships, which will be paid directly to the accredited college or technical school of their choice.

Held each summer in Washington, D.C., the Y.E.S. program brings together high-achieving high school students from across the country for a week of immersive learning focused on the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, and American government. After the summit, participants are given nine months to compete for the prestigious Grand Scholarship by introducing NRA programs in their hometowns and submitting a comprehensive portfolio detailing their efforts. This year’s entries included impactful community outreach such as hosting Eddie Eagle GunSafe programs, serving on Friends of NRA committees, and speaking at local civic organizations.

The following students from the 2024 Y.E.S. class were selected as Grand Scholarship recipients:

  • $5,000 – Maggie P., Pennsylvania
  • $4,000 – Nate C., Virginia
  • $2,000 – Haylee T., North Carolina
  • $750 – Logan P., Missouri
  • $750 – Logan E., Oklahoma

Funding for the Y.E.S. program and the Grand Scholarship is provided by The NRA Foundation. For more information about the Youth Education Summit, visit YES.NRA.org.
