When stuck in inclement weather, a trustworthy set of outerwear is worth more than almost any other piece of gear. Staying long hours in the field becomes exponentially harder, the colder and wetter you get. The new Hailstorm Jacket and Pants, from Nomad, will go a long way to keep you dry, warm and out hunting.

Both Jacket and Pants boast a 100% polyester construction, with a fully waterproof, breathable membrane and taped seams. At the same time, fully articulated knees, gusseted crotch and mechanical stretch shell fabric with DWR finish allow hunters ample range of motion when walking through the woods, glassing from steep ridges, or stalking. Finally, to release heat once all that movement has worked up a sweat, the clothing features zippered armpit vents and leg openings to cool you off.

In terms of fit, the pants are constructed with a built-in waist belt to ensure they don't slip when worn over other layers. The clasp is of a low profile, to fit comfortably under a backpack's waist belt. A Cordura seat in the pants and drop back hem on the jacket provide additional abrasion resistance when seated on rough ground. Despite all this functionality, the pants weigh in at a mere 32 ounces.
