Moultrie has announced the release of its new EDGE Solar trail camera, with the company says features a solar panel three times larger than the nearest competitor. This larger solar panel allows for faster recharging, more photos and more videos without having to worry about battery drain.

In addition to its larger size, the integrated solar panel has turn and tilt capabilities. This allows the user to dodge solar flares, delivering clearer images. The EDGE Solar also includes a rechargeable battery.

“Edge Solar was built for hunters who want a workhorse of a camera. If you want more videos and you want them uploaded more frequently, this is a great setup,” said Moultrie Head of Community Marketing James Denhalter. “The ideal camera for anyone that hunts far from home, deep in the woods or just wants to run their camera hard and not worry about maintenance. Truly a set it and forget it camera.”
