Butler Creek has announced a new lightweight binocular pack. Termed the Featherlight Bino Caddy, it is made of the same, breathable, closed-cell foam as the company's Featherlight sling. The caddy comes in three sizes, to fit 10X-42mm, 12X-50mm, and even 15X-56mm roof-prism models. A three-dimensional top flap keeps out dust and moisture, while silent suede materials and the Featherlight backing help protect binoculars from impacts and abrasions.

A slotted foam backer not only allows trapped heat to escape but also provides additional cushion when used under heavy backpacks and other accessories. Adjustable straps allow for a tight, jostle-free fit, while a quiet magnetic closure engages automatically to secure binoculars. This also allows for one-handed access. MOLLE webbing on the pack's front and rear is included for accessory attachment, an interior mesh pocket and rear compartment can handle calls or tags, while a side mesh pocket can fit a water bottle.

For more information on  the Featherweight Bino Caddy, which comes in Prym1 MP (multi-purpose) camouflage, please visit butlercreek.comMSRP: $74.95-$84.95

Field Tested: Federal Heavyweight TSS

Last year, I had the pleasure of travelling to the Yucatan peninsula in search of ocellated turkey. Read on for my thoughts on this incredibly effective shotshell.

Review: Winchester 400 Legend

Winchester’s new 400 Legend is a streamlined, mid-sized straight-wall cartridge intended to fill the gap between its wildly popular 350 Legend and the notorious 450 Bushmaster. It is—in our opinion—a masterstroke of genius.
