Davidson's Adds Kimber Manufacturing

Davidson’s firearms, ammunition, optics and accessories wholesalers has announced the addition of Kimber Manufacturing to its firearms product line category.

Kimber was founded with the singular purpose of building fine sporting firearms, and the company continues to measure success by product quality and customer satisfaction. Organizations like the USA Shooting Team, LAPD SWAT and United States Marines assigned to Central Command chose Kimber. American shooters did too, in a big way, leading Kimber to become the world’s largest producer of 1911 pistols.

Headquartered in Troy, Alabama, Kimber has a diverse line of firearms offerings. Davidson’s will be carrying the full Kimber product line, shipping from each of two distribution facilities located in Arizona and North Carolina.

Kimber products being carried by Davidson’s will include well-established products such from the Kimber 1911 line, which includes the Raptor II, CDP, Rapide, Aegis and KHX, to the polymer-framed R7 Mako, the Micro 9 and the extra small, ultra-lightweight K6XS revolver. Davidson’s dealers will now be able to access Kimber’s quality firearms while taking advantage of Davidson’s 90+ years of distribution and customer service experience.

“Davidson’s is extremely honored by its appointment as a select distributor for Kimber Manufacturing”, said Bryan Tucker, CEO of Davidson’s, Inc. “Kimber’s excellent reputation, quality and assortment of products makes the line a great addition to our extensive firearms offerings. I would like to sincerely thank the Kimber team for their thoroughness in onboarding us as a distributor, including the fantastic training they provided our account executives. We look extremely forward to working with Kimber and providing Davidson’s customers with their fine products.”

“While Kimber is extremely proud to celebrate our 45th anniversary in 2024, Davidson’s celebrates their 92nd anniversary this selling season”, said Mountie Mizer, VP of sales for Kimber. “Davidson’s business philosophy is simple—customer service. By offering both east and west coast distribution centers, as well as Davidson’s Lifetime GuaranteeD Replacement Program, Davidson’s has been a benchmark in two-step distribution for almost 100 years. Additionally, by adding Davidson’s, we gain access to the renowned GalleryofGuns.com and the hallmark exclusives that Davidson’s is known for. This is a natural progression for Kimber’s dealer expansion growth as we prepare for fall 2024 and beyond.”

Initial inventory is shipping into Davidson’s at the time of this release, with more on the way.
