This week, we’re taking a closer a look at the Savage Axis XP. This hardy bolt-action is chambered in 10 calibers, including such favorites as the classic .30-06 Springfield and the straight-walled 350 Legend. An economic way to go straight from the store to the woods, the Axis XP comes topped with a bore-sighted Weaver 3X-9X-40mm, right out of the box. Learn more about it in the video embedded above, hosted by Digital Associate Editor David Herman. MSRP: $415; savagearms.com.
