For 2019, CVA has introduced its first-ever bolt-action centerfire rifle—the Cascade. The rifle features a charcoal grey synthetic stock, and a 22-inch carbon steel barrel finished in a rich, matte blue with a threaded muzzle for under $600. The bolt design incorporates a 70 degree throw for smooth, fast operation and generous scope clearance. The Cascade's 4-round flush-fit detachable magazine makes loading simple, and additional magazines are available for purchase from CVA. The buttstock is adjustable for length of pull via a removable spacer, making the it an ideal rifle for growing youths, small statured adults or full-sized hunters who want to shorten their stock to accommodate heavy winter clothing. Dual front swivel studs allow for the use of both a sling and a bi-pod at the same time. Current chambering include 6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm-08 Rem. and .308 Win, with long-action calibers scheduled to be introduced in 2020. MSRP: $566.95; cva.com.
