Browning Packs Introduces Buck1700

Browning Packs Introduces Buck1700

Browning Packs have done well since first hitting the market last year—they received our Golden Bullseye Award for Gear of the Year, after all—and the brand seems intent on upping the ante for 2016. The first new introduction was announced this week in the Buck1700, a lightweight pack designed specifically for the tree stand hunter.

The new pack weighs just a pound a half, and offers 1700 cubic inches of storage space for hunting gear. The thermo-molded foam back panel holds the pack's shape while still keeping it lightweight. The Baumshell fabric construction is roughly twice the strength and half the weight of a traditional knitted pack, and is water resistant. A quick buckle design on the top strap allows the pack to be easily hung from a branch, gear hook or bow hanger. The waist belt can be removed if the hunter prefers a more streamlined design.

The Buck 1700 ships with an MSRP of $80.
