Amateur Radio Station to Mark NRA’s 145th Birthday

Attention all Hams! The Yavapai Amateur Radio Club (YARC) of Prescott, Ariz.—broadcasting from the Gunsite Academy’s 2,000-acre campus north of Prescott—will operate a special event station Nov. 17, 2016, to help celebrate the NRA’s 145th birthday.

The call sign will be K7NRA, an FCC-licensed radio station. Operations will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time) and will be available on the following amateur frequencies: 7.250, 14.050, 14.250 and 21.335 MHz.

All amateur stations, especially any operated by NRA members or Gunsite alumni, are urged to participate. More information is available online here.
