Last summer, Weatherby's "Women of Weatherby" initiative launched a "Name Your Rifle" program, offering consumers the opportunity to vote on the name of an otherwise mysterious new firearm. We got more details at SHOT Show 2016 when the company announced its new Camilla Vanguard, a rifle designed for women, by women.

The rifle, which is Weatherby's first female-specific release, sports a shorter length of pull and higher Monte-Carlo style cheekpiece, leaving it more tailored to a female shooter's smaller frame. The Camilla will be available in .223, .243, 7mm-08 and .308.

Women of Weatherbywhich was announced last year, during the 144th NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits—has been "established to empower and inspire the dreams of all women hunters and shooters," by providing an unprecedented wealth of resources, tools and opportunities.

You can learn more about the Camilla with the video embedded above.
