Winchester Launches Model 70 Ultimate Shadow Hunter SS

Winchester has announced the launch of its latest addition to the venerable Model 70 line in the Ultimate Shadow Hunter SS. The Shadow Hunter SS sports a lightweight synthetic stock in the new Mossy Oak Break-Up Country camouflage pattern, alongside a stainless steel receiver that features the popular pre-'64 style controlled round feeding with claw extractor and fixed ejector.

The Ultimate Shadow is offered in a 22", 24" or 26" blued barrel and available in popular standard calibers and three WSM calibers.

Other features include: 

• Gray overmolded rubberized gripping surfaces offer enhanced control
• Matte metal surfaces
• Alloy one-piece bottom metal with steel floor plate
• Forged stainless steel receiver with integral recoil lug is bedded front and rear to eliminate shifts in zero
• Three Position Safety
• Sporter weight free-floating stainless steel barrel
• M.O.A. Trigger System with zero take-up, zero creep and zero overtravel
• Blade-Type Ejector
• Win-Sorb Technology recoil pad

The MSRP will range between $1,099.99 and $1,139.99, based on version specifics.
