In November 2010, Nashville’s newspaper, The Tennessean reported how the city was excited to land the National Rifle Association's May 2015 convention for good reason! Tourism officials of the day dubbed it “a mega-gathering known for bringing big political names, big guns and big bucks to host cities, something that could help push Nashville further into the limelight as a go-to convention city.”

Those officials were on target considering the NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits is the NRA’s flagship event of the year, bringing tens of thousands of dedicated NRA members together to celebrate freedom and the Second Amendment. No doubt we NRA members will be consuming more than our fair share of goods and services. How’s that for some solid economic growth?
