Americase, Inc., has announced its development of the first aluminum breakdown crossbow case to hit the archery market.

"For quite sometime we have considered developing a crossbow carrying case that is functional and not cumbersome," Mars Freudenberg, the company's Sporting Case Sales Manager, said. "While doing research we discovered that most of today's crossbows are breakdown, so this seemed to be the next logical step to accommodate the needs of our customers."

The new Breakdown Crossbow Case measures 36" x 13 ½" x 7 5/8" and is a welded aluminum case that mirrors similar cases in the company's EC Series. The interior has a lift out panel that is designed to accommodate nearly any breakdown crossbow currently on the marketplace. The lower compartment holds the crossbow stock, quiver with bolts and storage, while the top holds the bow and foot stirrup.

The .063 aluminum case has a spring loaded handle, two heavy duty key locking flip latches along with two eyelets that can be padlocked and comes with a water resistant seal keeping out dust, dirt and moisture.

Like all Americase products, the AT-EC-Crossbow case is worthy for air travel worldwide.

Tips & Tricks Learned from an Ongoing Study of Elk

The only thing I can confidently say about elk hunting is that education is ongoing. After decades of autumns spent in elk country, I have learned a few hard and fast guidelines to heighten my odds of success, even without standing over an elk at the end of the hunt. Elk hunting is changing from season to season. Every lesson you learn from a previous season of hunting has merit in overcoming the low odds already stacked against you.
