Established in 2009, the NRA Public Range Fund is a grant matching program that encourages city and county governments, along with state or federal agencies, to work with NRA to build and improve public ranges across the United States.

NRA Youth Hunter Education Challenge Fosters Next Generation of Hunters

In 1985, we launched a program to facilitate friendly competition among youths 18 and younger that would advance hunting skills including wildlife identification, orienteering and rifle, shotgun and archery marksmanship. NRA Publications Names Mark Keefe Editorial Director

The National Rifle Association’s Publications Division is pleased to announce Mark. A. Keefe, IV, has been appointed Editorial Director, succeeding John Zent, who held the post from 2004 until April of this year, retiring after nearly four decades as an NRA staff editor. Brian Sheetz will replace Mark Keefe as editor in chief of American Rifleman.
