Based on extensive consumer feedback, Ruger has upgraded the 10/22 rifle line with enhanced features previously found only in select configurations.

Ruger's 10/22 Takedown has been a hit since its release. The company decided to build on that for 2016 and, at the 145th NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits, announced the new 10/22 Takedown Lite. The new introduction combines the popular attributes of the 10/22 Takedown with a new, lighter weight barrel and the Ruger Modular Stock System.

European-based Umarex, known for their quality replica airguns, has just introduced an officially-licensed .177-caliber, air rifle replica of the much-loved Ruger 10/22 rifle.

Advanced Technology International (ATI) has introduced a new AR-22 Stock Kit for the popular Ruger 10/22 Takedown platform. Originally available for the more traditional 10/22 designs, the AR-22 Stock Kit will now be an option for those that have adopted Ruger's Takedown version of the legendary rifle.

Magpul had its new Hunter X-22 stock—designed specifically for the Ruger 10/22—on display at the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Nashville. The X-22 features an adjustable LOP and comb height, and will retail for $139.
