Savage Arms brought out the Model 42, a gun that, like the Model 24, combines the utility of .22 –cal. rifle and .410-bore shotgun, but with a composite stock and fore-end at an economical price. Bushnell’s top-of-the-line Forge family of optics now includes a 15x56mm binocular for glassing game in wide-open terrain.
