Winchester Ammunition has announced its latest selection of 3-inch, 28-gauge shotshells for upland and waterfowl hunting: Xpert Steel, Bismuth and Super Pheasant.

As the name implies, these Nitro-Steel Duplex shells are loaded with a combination of two different sizes of steel shot, designed to optimize performance across all distances.

Federal Ammunition has addedtwo 28-gauge, 3-inch, ¾-ounce loads in shot size No. 3 or 4 to its Black Cloud product lineup. 

SAAMI has announced the acceptance of a new shotshell and rimfire cartridge for standardization: three-inch 28-gauge and .21 Sharp.
