The word “superstand” refers to a rare stand location that consistently produces bucks regardless of the season or conditions. Most times hunters luck into them. But you can find your own superstand, or even make one, if you know what to look for.

For 45 years, Congress has recognized the fourth Saturday in September as National Hunting and Fishing Day—and that tradition will continue on Sept. 23, 2017. NRA Second Vice President and Honorary NHF Day Chair Richard Childress is encouraging outdoorsmen and women across the nation to join in on the festivities by pledging to take someone hunting, fishing or shooting between now and Saturday.

Busch Beer has launched the latest rendition of its hunting and fishing program, "The Great Outdoors." From Sept. 4 through Nov. 20, 2017, all specifically marked 12-, 18-, 24- and 30-packs of Bush and Busch Light will feature the new Great Outdoors look. 30,000 golden trophy cans will be seeded into cases nationwide, allowing lucky consumers the chance to enter the Great Outdoors Sweepstakes.

Of course the annual NRA Meetings and Exhibits is packed with good folks, guns and Second Amendment fervor, but you may not realize the growing number of country music acts that take the stage both after hours and during the show itself. Inasmuch, this annual gathering has evolved from a business-like affair to a near-continuous live event where members can expect to not only be enlightened but entertained.
