Uberti has made a name for itself by reproducing a wide variety of classic historical firearms, particularly those of the American West. It's Silver Boy, chambered in .22 LR, is more of a re-envisioning, but it should catch your eye all the same.

Our friends at American Rifleman recently took a closer look at the ETHOS in an episode of American Rifleman TV.

In 1977 Ruger bucked the trend in a hunting market dominated by pump and semi-auto shotguns, introducing a new American-made over/under, the Red Label. The Red Label became a cult favorite among shotgunners until it faded from the Ruger line.

Shotgun fans have long been acquainted with Winchester's Super X3, which has served as the company's premier autoloader for what feels like eons now, and it has acquitted itself very well. That said, all eras come to a close eventually. Though the SX3 isn't quite taking a bow just yet, the sun will soon rise for another scattergun bearing the Winchester name—the Super X4.
