Hunters have so many good choices in mid-priced binoculars these days that arguing brands is as pointless as engaging in the ol’ .308 vs. .30-06 debate. The crowded and competitive nature of the $300-$800 bino market is a great thing for buyers—but not necessarily sellers. And so when I heard a new company named Styrka had entered the business, I had to question its approach. What more could Styrka offer in a bino with a street price of about $650 that’s not already available?

Styrka has announced a new partnership with Mossy Oak, which kicks off with the release of the Styrka S3 10x42 binocular in Mossy Oak's Break-Up Country pattern. The two companies are celebrating the team-up in perhaps the best way possible: A giveaway.

Particularly since the introduction of straight-wall-only states, rifles chambered in 350 Legend and .450 Bushmaster have become increasingly popular for hunting. In response to this trend, Styrka now offers two affordable scopes to its S3 line, designed specifically for these calibers.
