Weatherby, Inc. has announced the launch of its new "Women of Weatherby" Name Your Rifle sweepstakes. The company is looking for a name for its new rifle—which will be offered in limited calibers, and will be the industry's first rifle designed for women, by women—and it's turning to consumers for a little help.

Last summer, Weatherby's "Women of Weatherby" initiative launched a "Name Your Rifle" program, offering consumers the opportunity to vote on the name of an otherwise mysterious new firearm. The NRA Women's Leadership Forum began more than a decade ago, and has since grown into one of the largest and most influential philanthropic groups within NRA. This weekend, at the 145th NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Louisville, the organization will host its annual gathering. Weatherby and Leupold have teamed up to support the Women's Leadership Forum and NRA alike, and will be offering a special rifle and riflescope combination package for auction at the event.
