Mouth Call Lineup Lede

Knight & Hale Game Calls has announced several new mouth calls to its lineup, tested in the field by championship level callers. Check them out below.

Barber's Cut Mouth Call

This is Harold Knight's favorite cut of all time. The two-reed design produces crisp, clear yelps on the front end with a touch of rasp on the back end. Easy to use and versatile, it's perfect for purrs, clucks, and yelps.

Ol' Yeller Mouth Call

One of Knight & Hale's most versatile calls, Ol' Yeller mimics the sound of a mature hen. From loud, raspy yelps and cuts to soft purrs, this call ensures gobblers come running.

Ghost Cut Mouth Call

Ideal for hunters of any level, the Ghost Cut offers a higher pitch with a touch of rasp. Perfect for kee-kee runs and soft calling, it's a hands-free option for when it's time to pull the trigger.

Batwing Mouth Call

Producing deep, clear tones, the Batwing allows hunters to replicate every sound a hen makes. Its three-reed design ensures long-range effectiveness while keeping hunters ready for action.

Half Moon Cutter Mouth Call

A rebirth of the legendary "Magic Mooncutter," this Harold Knight design shines with high-pitched yelps and aggressive cuts. Versatile and hands-free, it's built for close encounters with tricky toms.

Half Moon Split V Mouth Call

Combining the Half Moon Cutter and Split V, this call delivers clear, high-pitched yelps with minimal rasp. A go-to for kee-kee runs, it sports an aluminum frame and three-reed design.

Ghost Split V Mouth Call

Blending the soft clucks of a Ghost Cut with the aggressive yelps of a Split V, this call offers a wide range of sounds and volumes. Built for kee-kee runs and versatile calling in any situation.

Small Frame No Cut Mouth Call (2-Pack)

Designed for beginners, kids, or hunters with smaller palates, this call requires less air pressure while still producing bold, clear cuts and yelps.

Smokeshow Mouth Call 3-Pack

A premium set featuring three of the above calls: the Batwing, for deep, clear tones for every hen sound; the Barber's Cut, for crisp yelps with Harold Knight's signature rasp; and the Ghost Cut, for high-pitched realism, perfect for kee-kee runs.

Michigan Mayor Looks Down on Guns and Dogs

“If you’ve got a gun, you should be ashamed of yourself,” said Grand Rapids Mayor David LaGrand. NRA-ILA also noted that in his response to a police K-9 chasing down a suspect, LaGrand said: “It is time that we ask, ‘What are dogs good for?’ Like, if you need a dog to find someone in the woods, get a hound dog. If you need to chase somebody in a backyard, why couldn’t you do that with a drone? If my dog did what I saw in that video, I’d put my dog down.”

Coyote Tactics: Stay Flexible

The successful hunters I know do not get hung up on one tactic. They constantly float between strategies in an ever-changing hunting environment. Quite simply, they’re flexible. I take that improvising nature to heart even for coyotes, particularly when they shun my calls for whatever reason. When that occurs, I continue the hunt, but modify my strategy to fit the scenario.
