Associate Online Editor Paul Rackley got to take a crack at the new Franchi Instinct Over-Under Shotgun at the 2012 Media Day at the Range in Boulder City, Nev.

The Instinct is available in two different versions—the Instinct L which comes in a color case hardended frame and the Instinct SL which comes in an alloy frame. Available in both 12- and 20-gauge models, the Instinct features an auto safety, and was designed with hunters in mind.
