Made in Wisconsin, this Ravin crossbow is compact with a futuristic look. The limbs are small but mighty and are just 6 inches wide when cocked. The uncocked limbs are still only 10.5-inches axle-to-axle.

The bow is powered by HeliCoil technology that coils cables away from both the top and bottom of the cams in helical grooves keeping the cams perfectly balanced. This allows the cams to rotate 340 degrees, while both cams remain perfectly level when drawing and shooting the crossbow. This design creates the most compact crossbow on the market with impressive accuracy.

With acute string angles, it is one of the safer bows on the market. And with finger guards and a box to load arrows through, your fingers are never in the way of the string. With a total weight of 6.9 pounds and a mere 12-pound draw force on the cocking handle, the bow is easy to handle for any sized hunter or shooter. With a 400 grain arrow the bow shoots a blistering 425 fps.

There is no tinkering with this bow and it comes fully assembled and tuned. The package includes six arrows, removable cocking handle, quiver, illuminated scope, built-in cocking mechanism, anti-dry fire and auto safety, and sling mounts. This ready-to-shoot package has a MSRP of $2,049.99 and will be available in March 2017.

Hardware Review: Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 A.I. BE.S.T

The Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 A.I. BE.S.T. is, put simply, on the fast track to being considered a waterfowling marvel. Standing for Advanced Impact technology, the SBE 3 A.I. shoots its shot with  improved downrange results thanks to a very, very proprietary barrel technology that actually assists in energy retention for greater downrange velocity. Sounds crazy, right? That’s what I thought too; then I took the gun to Montana’s Bighorn River and had my mind blown.
