CVA has launched a new product video, one that also serves as a something of a tribute to the 1972 film classic "Jeremiah Johnson." The Hollywood-inspired new ad is something that needs to be seen to be properly appreciated.
The video recreates one of the movie's most popular scenes, in which the titular Jeremiah stumbles upon the frozen corpse of Hatchet Jack and thereby obtains the rifle of his dreams–a .50 caliber Hawken. CVA has put its own twist on the legendary scene, though. You can get a look at it yourself by clicking here or checking out the video embedded at the bottom of this story.
Dudley McGarity, CEO of BPI Outdoors, owner of the CVA brand, said the idea for the video was inspired by the reverence that so many hunters have for the film "Jeremiah Johnson."
“I can clearly recall the first time I saw the movie,” McGarity said, “and from that point on I was hooked on muzzleloading rifles and the heritage that they represent. It is our hope that this video will introduce the film to a new generation of hunters and that they too will be similarly inspired.”
