I am so fortunate to work at and be a part of the NRA! Speaking as senior editor of American Hunter and an NRA Endowment member, one of the things I most anticipate each year is attending the NRA Annual Meetings. As I board my flight for this year’s event—the 143rd NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Indianapolis, Apr. 25 to 27—I certainly hope to see you there!
According to NRA’s Wayne LaPierre, we’re expecting the “largest freedom family reunion in NRA history” as thousands of us gun owners, hunters and shooters converge on the Indiana Convention Center. If you’re headed that way, the action-packed show runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Between talking with manufacturers and outfitters in the exhibit hall, checking out the special attractions and attending the seminars, meetings, banquets, concerts and other special events, our schedules will be packed!
I'll be landing in Indy several hours ahead of American Hunter's Scott Olmsted and Adam Heggensteller, who won't get there until late this afternoon. Unfortunately, I can't scoop them on all the goodies at the show because the exhibit hall won't open until tomorrow at 9 a.m.!
