Q: For deer hunting I shoot a shotgun with a fully rifled barrel, and I only use sabot slugs. What type of cleaning solution should I use?
A: There are several solvents available that specifically remove plastic fouling from sabots. Bore Scrubber 2-in-1 Bore Cleaner from Birchwood Casey is a good one, as well as Brownells Shotgun Wad Solvent and Remington 40-X Bore Cleaner.
