Leupold & Stevens has announced the return of its ‘Project Hunt’ contest, which offers hunters across the United States the chance to have their next hunt filmed and shared across Leupold’s digital media platforms.

Follow along for an average day at the Great American Outdoor Show, filled to the brim with exhibitors, excitement and educational opportunities. The show will continue until Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023.

Harvest data from Western states and provinces suggest shooting more bucks one year reduces the prevalence of chronic wasting disease the next. What’s more, the pressure on the buck segment seems to be more effective if the harvest occurs near or during the rut.

A painting of mountain quail has been chosen by a panel of judges as the winning entry in the 2021-2022 California Upland Game Bird Stamp Art Contest. The painting was created by Jeffrey Klinefelter of Etna Green, Indiana.

The winning artist in each contest receives a $2,000 award and winning artwork is used to produce collector's stamps and other promotional items with sale proceeds benefitting Oregon's fish, wildlife and their habitats.
