Weatherby and Leupold Join Forces For NRA Women’s Leadership Forum
The NRA Women's Leadership Forum began more than a decade ago, and has since grown into one of the largest and most influential philanthropic groups within NRA. This weekend, at the 145th NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Louisville, the organization will host its annual gathering. Weatherby and Leupold have teamed up to support the Women's Leadership Forum and NRA alike, and will be offering a special rifle and riflescope combination package for auction at the event.
A Rifle for Women, Designed by Women: Weatherby's Project Camilla
At SHOT Show 2016, Weatherby premiered its new Vanguard Camilla, a rifle designed exclusively with the huntress in mind. The company's mission, from the start, was to craft a rifle that was designed from the ground up for women, by women—and not to just make a smaller, pinker version of a standard Vanguard. The result is the Camilla. To honor Camilla—and huntresses everywhere—the company rolled out a tribute video discussing the rifle's beginnings, just in time for Mother's Day 2016.
