Fresh off its late-December teaser video, Savage Arms has announced that it will be entering the AR-15 market with the introduction of the new Savage MSR line.
Though the entire line of Savage Arms' new AR-style rifles is worth taking a closer look at, hunters will want to keep an eye on the MSR 10 Hunter in particular.
Chambered in .300 Blackout, the new MSR 15 Blackout from Savage Arms uses a pistol-length gas system, allowing users to utilize suppressors and reliably cycle subsonic ammunition without adding length and weight.
Savage Arms jumped into the AR market this year with four new guns, two of which are for big-game hunters. The Savage MSR 10 Hunter and MSR 10 Long Range are built on a custom-size platform similar to the AR-10 and designed for cartridges in the .308 Win. class.
