KR22 New Colors

TriStar Arms is expanding the KR22 .22 LR rifle lineup with two new color options, giving shooters more ways to personalize one of the company’s rimfire rifles. The KR22 is now available in Flat Dark Earth and Olive Drab Green, joining the original synthetic black model that launched the platform.

The KR22 was designed as a lightweight, versatile semi-automatic rimfire that feels at home on the range, in training or out in the field. Chambered in .22 LR, it features an 18.6-inch threaded barrel with standard ½x28 TPI right-hand threads, making it suppressor ready. The rifle also includes a reversible bolt handle, adjustable comb, integrated Picatinny rail for optics, adjustable front fiber-optic sight and ships with two 10-round rotary magazines. The KR22 is compatible with standard 10/22-pattern magazines.

The new Flat Dark Earth and Olive Drab Green finishes bring a modern, outdoors-inspired look to the KR22, while maintaining the same proven performance shooters expect. These additions were developed in response to customer demand for more color options without changing what already works.

“The KR22 has been extremely well received since its introduction,” said Ryan Bader, president of TriStar Arms. “Adding FDE and OD Green gives shooters more choice while keeping the reliability, ergonomics, and value that made the KR22 such a strong rimfire option from the beginning.”

Pricing for the KR22 remains competitive, with the synthetic black model priced at $289. The new Flat Dark Earth and Olive Drab Green versions are available at $309 each.

The KR22 in FDE and OD Green is shipping now through authorized TriStar Arms dealers nationwide.

Recipe: Deep-Rooted Venison Stew

Several friends and I often circle back to the same campfire debate about which wild game makes the best stew. Mule deer usually leads the pack, with moose close behind, but any well-handled game meat can stand out when you build the right layers of flavor. The real magic starts long before the broth simmers. It comes from the vegetables and mushrooms you choose.
