Smith & Wesson has announced the addition of the .357 Magnum caliber to the Model 1854 series.

When the Model 1854 was first introduced, it featured the popular .44 Rem Mag, followed by the .45 Colt in the months that followed. Now, enthusiasts can enjoy the same smooth lever-action rifle in an additional caliber that harkens back to a classic American design. Available in two configurations, users have the choice of a black polymer and stainless-steel finish, or a walnut stock paired with an Armornite finish. Each model boasts a 10+1 capacity; a 19 ¼-inch threaded barrel; and a crisp, smooth action. Additional features include a 4 ¾-inch Picatinny base for optics mounting; an adjustable XS Sights ghost-ring rear sight; a gold-bead front sight; a flat-face trigger design; and a removable magazine tube for safe unloading.

The Model 1854 is engineered to blend the aesthetics of a traditional lever-action rifle with the benefits of modern design enhancements. For more information on the Model 1854 series, visit smith-wesson.com.
