Leupold is pleased to announce the winners of its 2025 Project Hunt contest. Representing the East will be Demi Giroux. Representing the West will be Stephen Moore–as well as friends Chelsea Egan and Ivy O’Guinn, whose Alaska brown bear hunt was selected as an additional bonus winner from the West region.
For the second year, Leupold added a twist to its popular Project Hunt contest, dividing the entries into two regions: East and West. Contestants entered the region where their hunt will take place, with a winner chosen for each. After reviewing a record number of applications, Demi Giroux’s Maine moose hunt was selected to represent the East region, while Stephen Moore’s Washington mountain goat hunt was selected to represent the West region–alongside the Alaska brown bear hunt of Chelsea Egan and Ivy O’Guinn.
“Every year we’re incredibly impressed with the quality of the submissions the Project Hunt contest receives,” said Tim Lesser, vice president of Product Development & Marketing. “The 2025 campaign produced a record number of entries and countless stories worth telling. So much so that, for the West region, we decided to expand the prize pool and select two winners. We look forward to highlighting all three of our winners’ stories in 2026 as we continue to recognize and elevate the relentless drive and passion that our Leupold Core members possess.”
Project Hunt 2025 accepted entries from June 2 through June 22, 2025. The selected winners will have their hunt captured by a professional filmmaker and turned into Leupold-produced short films. Winners will also receive a complete Leupold optics kit.
