Kifaru, the Wyoming-based manufacturer of trusted outdoor packs and gear for hunting rugged environments, has just announced its venture into the hunting apparel market. Available for purchase in March 2026, Kifaru has applied the company’s same purpose-driven approach to outdoor gear to its new line of hunting apparel.
Rather than simply dressing up their existing brand apparel in camo or earth tones and calling it good, Kifaru worked from the ground up, carefully considering fabrics, fit and construction, to design a true hunting apparel line with performance, durability, mobility and functionality at its core. Every new item in the line was built to handle the tasks that real-world hunters take on in the field.
“A true hunting apparel system was a natural extension of what we have already built here at Kifaru,” said Aris Sergakis, Apparel Design Director at Kifaru. “This system is a purpose-driven solution for the tough environments and unpredictable scenarios outdoor enthusiasts’ encounter. Every piece was designed to help hunters meet those challenges head on.”
We’ve gotten our hands on some early production samples, from base layers to outerwear, and can tell you with authority that Kifaru is now indeed a player in the hunting apparel game. We can’t wait to put it to use this fall.
Initial offerings include:

Spike 150 Merino Layers
The foundation of a hunter’s clothing system, these Marino-wool base layers, consisting of a short-sleeve crew for mild climates and a long-sleeve hoodie for cooler weather, will assist in regulating core temps when the hunt gets underway. Lightweight, breathable and odor resistant, these layers feature flatlock seam construction for a comfortable, next-to-skin fit that won’t add bulk or weigh you down.
MSRP: $95 (SS Crew); $130 (LS Hoodie)

Roam Crosslayer
When the mercury really starts to drop, this softshell mid-layer option combines an insulating grid-fleece inside with a wind and water-resistant outer layer that’ll shed light rain and snow. Its cozy interior is guarded by a hard, durable, abrasion-resistant exterior complete with a hood, kangaroo pocket, thumb loops and a bit of stretch so you can still make moves.
MSRP: $180

Passbreaker Pant
These are your go-to pants for just about everything from early-season scouting to late-season hunting. Built to be durable, comfortable, moisture wicking and quick-drying, the Passbreaker Pant is loaded with practical features like zippered side-seam mesh vents, a silicone interior waist band to prevent sagging, knee pad compartments and suspender compatibility. Made from a double-weave, two-way stretch polyester.
MSRP: $170

Torlander Pant
When the forecast says there’s a chance Mother Nature might throw a temper tantrum, this is the pant you’ll want to be wearing. It’s weather-resistant against wind, rain and cold, and sports a micro grid fleece interior that ads comfort and warmth. Large zippered side-seam vents help regulate temperatures, and it’s got just the right number of pockets.
MSRP: $300

Pointe Synthetic Puffy Jacket
When the chill needs to be kept at bay, this packable puffy jacket is worth way more than its light weight and low bulk implies. A windproof ripstop nylon exterior sheds light rain and snow, and houses PrimaLoft Gold insulation inside. It’s quick-drying and provides warmth, even when wet.
MSRP: $310
