EDITED SC 14

SC Products Group developed the SC-14 Gun Cleaner to be a go-to cleaner for hunters and shooting enthusiasts who value  product that is Made in the USA (specially, Dallas, Texas) and is totally non-toxic.

Based on the company’s mission—to keep users safe from hazardous chemicals, to protect and preserve our environment, and to safely clean the things we love—SC Products Group expanded its work over the past two decades of providing cleaners to the fire service industry to address what it saw as a gap in the hunting and shooting sports space.

Since that move, SC-14 Gun Cleaner has made an impact receiving positive reviews from customers, dealers and gunsmiths.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by experts in the hunting and shooting media as one of the best non-toxic gun cleaners in the market right now,” said Jim Evans, founder and CEO of SC Products Group. “There are a lot of options these days, and we just want to make sure that folks have a safe and effective cleaner when they head into the field this fall.”

Features:

  • SC-14 Gun Cleaner is engineered to be safe on any firearm surface—metals, plastics, decals and even specialty or untreated metals like chrome and exposed aluminum as well as nitride-coatings and painted surfaces.
  • SC-14 uniquely targets oil, grease, soot, and other types of hydrocarbon soiling. Rather than using aggressive solvents and surfactants designed to strip dirt from surfaces (while also potentially damaging the surfaces being cleaned), SC-14 Gun Cleaner is engineered to physically bond with oil, grease and other organic contaminants containing hydrocarbons, overpowering their attraction to the surface being cleaned.
  • SC-14 Gun Cleaner is a demulsifier, which is the opposite of most degreasers, soaps, and solvents. Demulsifiers are naturally hydrophobic and repel water, which means that once SC-14 has bonded with organic soil containing hydrocarbons, they float to the surface of the cleaning solution and can no longer reattach to other surfaces.
  • SC-14 Gun Cleaner does not use any petroleum, bupoxyethanol, nitrobenzone, or any other harsh chemicals that can be dangerous. Instead, SC-14 gun cleaner features a biodegradable, food-grade ingredient.
  • When cleaning firearms, a residue-free result is imperative, thus SC-14 Gun Cleaner leaves no residue while safely removing carbon, lead, copper fouling, oil and dirt.
